Along the way he won Class In Show awards no less than 18 times including a Runner-up to Best In Show and Dog CC and runner Up to BIS at the 2006 Pointer Club Championship show under Dr Ron James UK (Jasmorne) In April 2007 he joined Greg Browne "Eireannmada Setters" in Melbourne for an Australian campaign. In his first weekend of showing he won Best Gundog at 4 shows including a Best In Show and gained his Australian title. This makes him the 12th Robwyn All Breeds BIS Pointer. Since then he has won numerous awards, including 5 x All Breeds Best In Show and 9 x Reserve BIS awards and 28 Best In Group. He finished 2007 as the No1 Pointer in Australia, No 1 Gundog in the state of Victoria, the No 3 Gundog in Australia (Dogzonline Pointscore ) and he finished 11th for All Breeds in Australia. Following his # 5 BIS last weekend "Ryan" will move back to No 1 Pointer in Australia in 2008. "Ryan" will return home following the 2008 Sydney Royal. Like all my other Robwyn Pointers he is available at stud. He carries all colours having produced Livers, Blacks and a Lemon in his first two litters in Australia. |
"Ryan" has had an outstanding show career to date. Right from the beginning he regularly won Class In Show awards which culminated in him winning the Premier Pro Plan "Puppy of The Year contest" for all puppies in November 2006. Only the second Pointer to achieve this feat. |
